Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How do you manage to study when you don’t want to?
1·7 days agoIt’s not a school thing, everyone in the country does this bs, or at least those who decided to go to the “university oriented” types of high schools

3·7 days agoCoffee doesn’t help at all, I barely ever feel caffeine unless i drink like a red bull and a monster back to back. Mind you, i am not a daily consumer of caffeine and i never crave it, so… idk what to tell you

5·8 days agoNever thought about it, but after looking around… maybe? Idk, i guess i should get that figured out by some professional if that’s the case

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How do you manage to study when you don’t want to?
4·8 days agoThanks, i’ll try that. Except for latin since we don’t study it as a language, but rather we learn grammar rules and that’s it, plus various writers and intellectuals from the roman era, which is annoying lol

Fuck AI@lemmy.world•Maybe a hot take, but: Even using AI as a learning tool is wrong
7·24 days agoYeah but AI actively makes the learning itself worse, unlike writing did. AI in learning only serves the purpose of being faster and easier, but it’s just unreliable data scraped from infos you could’ve checked yourself. Researching things yourself is inherently better, it gives you more knowledge, the knowledge is more complete, and the chance of there being straight hallucination’s is basically zero. It has value, but not right now, where it’s just a fancy translator that acts as some know-it-all

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•As a non communist, should i read the manifesto? (Plus other Marx and Engels stuff)
7·24 days agoWow, i will check it out, thanks

5·24 days agoSounds like a skill issue to me. Look at what caused the error and learn from it, don’t put it in a slop grinder and get the ready solution. If you want hand holding you’ll be using a distro that will not cause you those issues, if you’re not, you have to accept that you gotta put work in

3·24 days agoTo be fair, i think the language is a non-issue. sure, not everyone speaks english as a first language, but many people speak it as a second and the Arch Wiki specifically but also others are indeed translated in other languages.

20·25 days agoThanks, i just got tired of people yelling “communist” at anyone who’s progressive in any way (probably a thing of the place i live in lol)

5·25 days agoOf course, but i feel that knowing the premise and where those countries took their ideals from would be ideal to have a better view
Thanks, this made me feel better :)
