Games@lemmy.world•The overlooked hardcore FPS: Is Insurgency: Sandstorm still worth playing in 2026? (A detailed review)English
2·1 month agoBoth games are good. I’d say sandstorm is better in some ways, worse in less. Really, the only big differences are that the movement feels smoother in sandstorm and you have a lot more options for loadouts and weapon builds.
For me the original sandstorm scratches a nostalgia itch, and a lot of the audio feels more punchy, but it’s also a more stiff experience. The map designs are good in both, but i think the original has slightly simpler but more interesting map design.
Also, explosions pierce cover in the original but not sandstorm, so in the original it can sound way more chaotic with everyone throwing all their explosives out every time the respawn.

Doesn’t this already happen in China?
I don’t know, can plastic cause conditions for a potentially fatal foodborn illness? Is not so much about what you use instead of aluminum, it’s just that using only aluminum to wrap your food is fucking dumb
Storing food in foil is dangerous. It’s not airtight and sometimes the aluminum can react with food

I think it’s Queen to c5 first. So the black king can’t escape to the right. Then just drop down to c1
