I’m not arguing for population growth but we definitely have more than enough resources for everyone now. Scarcity isn’t the problem, it’s that we allow people to hoard those resources and we waste a ton of them.

There’s like 40 grams of sugar in a pop tart. The recommended daily intake is 10 grams. That is 4 times the limit before you even count the other pop tart or the ice cream.
