japan? at least they’ve attempted it a couple of times
there is no neurotypical explanation for this
C to F = 100 is too hot, 0 is too cold, 50 is just righ- ah damn it
is this loss
god i hate programming ligatures. makes code from other people completely inscrutable.
like, i’m fine with grouping characters together, but changing the shape of them completely defeats the purpose of ligatures. they’re meant to make flowing text easier to read, but in programming you don’t want flowing text. you want mistakes to stick out, so you need your text to be clearly demarcated and consistent.
like, with fira code, half of these characters should not exist. tell me at a glance what makes up those triangle ones, or the fat arrows.
i read “weak” in this context as “unmanly”. as in, the concept of feeling things makes someone less of a man, that manliness is inherently tied to stoicism. which is a very common thing, and something that needs to be combated. using language that meatheads understand necessarily means losing some nuance and adding some bias.
you can just patch in yourself, they have a tool
i don’t understand this either. i’ve only heard the name wu-tang as a joke ever since the 90’s, it just was never a thing here. it seems extremely us-centric. i also can’t keep up with the slang at all and that means the tone is impenetrable.
that’s very hard to make idiomatic, and if it’s in the querystring it’s easier to change manually because you can annotate each entry more easily.
whuh? querystrings are integral to things like pagination. they are by no means a negative thing.
personally i like v=aO82NftCga to be in there as well
“modern” and yet not using std::print
that’s when you get it in your eye during
sorry, but… does the label say “dream blindness”?
it’s a family business. they’ve always been run by assholes.
yeah i thought it was common knowledge. there a have been hundreds of missile launch events at or through other countries’ territory. wikipedia has not one but several, extensively sourced lists with maps. didn’t really expect pushbacks on such a well-documented thing. i’ll be going now.
