IIRC my world history class, the Soviets where perfectly fine letting the nazis destroy western Europe to the point of signing a non-aggression pact with them and only changed their mind once the Germans decided they would be the first to finally capture Russia from the Russians.

correct. Even as a Canadian I learned about “the American experiment” in history class.
I don’t think America counts as an experiment anymore. I have heard the average empire last 250 years, so they should be about over any day now.

Sometimes I wonder if they are trying to be funny.
At least in my part of the world the number of desktop users as a whole is going down with so many younger people deciding their phone is sufficient for everything. How long before those numbers cross?
