I mean. This is framed as humor but a lot of people genuinely think this way. Derogatory terms for women aside, if you’re not happy by yourself you’re not going to be happy with a partner. Unfortunately this is the sort of thing you need to understand on your own and internalize because the kneejerk reaction to someone telling you this tends to be “having a girlfriend/boyfriend/partner actually would make me happier”

What an alarming number of people fail to realize: everything is politics. This apparent separation is purposeful and is one of many tools that the wealthiest 1% use to keep the rest of us divided and distracted.
