we’re still kind of weird.
that’s the best part of it

then the regular stuffs should work like going out and meeting new people randomly, making friends at work and doing social service, reading circle and such, joining hobby based group or simply going to a club.
edit: from other comments, you switched country. so perceived cultural difference could make it bit difficult to fit in. it is completely normal and it will get easy soon enough.
do you have social anxiety?
never ignore your mental health.
do consider what elders around you say as suggestions and give them a good thought. don’t blindly assume it to be wrong or right even it seems so. most often it is somewhere in between.
know your situations and consider the consequence of people you trust breaking it. if the potential consequence is harmful enough to you, try to re-think your decisions.
also, I think you already know this since you’re on lemmy, be aware of child grooming. it’s better to know the risk than to fall for.
btw what do you mean 11th or 12th? any one of them? I’m curious about your country’s school system. you people go to university at 15??
*insensitive 🤦🏻♀️
no idea what I was thinking
I know this is meant to be a joke but it is incentive.
you know what’s funny about turning it off and on? my home isp had a problem. the uplink packets were dropping very often, downlink was fine. I called tech support.
as usual they said the ‘IT hello’. I said already tried. the guy made me restart everything on call. nothing changed. soon they sent two guys. they came all the way to turn the optical interface off and on and tp change the dns to isp one (obviously I never use that). they soon realized the problem isn’t here and called the isp. after some furious cussword exchanges they told the isp the IT mantra. and voila! they restarted their switch (cutting off internt to an entire locality lol) and everything went normal. that day I knew the true power of that mantra.
yes. I text that way too in such situations.
most of the time I accept call when a friend is in some distress. or when one of the parties is in a position where texting isn’t viable and it’s something urgent.
and yes I like random misdialed calls or scam calls (I think my numbers are in scammers’ blocklists lol). I always pick them :).
does this apply to women? do women need lesbian friend to learn empathy and kindness? asking for a friend.
when US was popular in the world? can you call a bully the popular kid?
the biggest advantage of this is that I can answer the call with wet/thick gloved hands. modern phones should have a dedicated answer key.
ubo will do the trick by blocking (political) ads that promote those bs. you can use custom filter list if you know what sites to block but at this point it somewhat feels like parental censorship. talking to him about politics and the misinformation campaigns is a much better idea to keep your uncle less susceptible to such brainwashing even outside online world. initially it might feel pointless but perseverance is the key.
meth.

afaik typst cannot be easily transpiled to latex. so even if it’s a better experience, it isn’t a good idea to write the a whole article in typst. most toolings in academic literature are built around latex.
If they are so advanced, they perfected the AGI. At this point you can’t differentiate a robot and will think them as silicon (maybe they use something else?) based lifeforms.
this exact same thing happened to me a while ago. I really doubt some human blocked my account though. after hours of customer support call and emails (from another account) it finally got unblocked but neither yhe support agent nor me had any clue what happened.
I learned the lesson and gradually moved the dev accounts to a proton email instead.
