Industrialists have just countered work efficiency improvements with…more work.
Yes, exactly. Before industrialisation people worked on average less hours than we do now.

Is throwing a paper plane harassment and assault? Your country is more fucked up than I thought. As an outsider it is incredibly tiring to listen to Americans harp on about how their country is in shambles and there’s nothing they can do about it. It’s pathetic.

The modern hats look like a satirical version of the original.
I think that’s a disingenious estimate to say that food is far cheaper now than it was previously in human history. Before industrialization, growing food did take up a large portion of people’s time but their yearly work hours were much smaller.
It has improved massively, at least in the west. Saying “somewhat” is a massive underestimation and undermindes the fight of women for hundreds of years.

Then take to the streets. Or whatever else you can do, you can always do something. Throw paper planes with notes on them at the White House. Whatever you do, do something, instead of sitting on your hands and saying “woe is me”.

But why? What is it that we need that isn’t on Earth already?

What good does colonizing the moon do? Genuinely curious.

What is the reason for needing to go to the moon?

This happened to me but in the student drawers we had in primary school. I was not a particularly ambitious kid so i never used that drawer. It wasn’t until the end of the year that I realized that the rotting smell in the classroom had come from my drawer where someone at some point (might also have been me) put a dead crab.

Any miltary strategist will say that you can’t bomb your way to a victory.
It is that bad. The Americans who move to or visit Europe need funds and incentive to do that, which does not overlap with the poorest (and fattest) Americans.

Yeah, people often forget that most regents were at least to some extent elected. If the nobility/rich landowners didn’t want a specific regent then they were thrown out and a new one was found. Usually within the same line, though. A regent rarely had absolute power. For example Denmark has had a monarchy for over 1000 years but less than 200 of those were an actual absolute monarchy. Most of the time the regent was put in check by the nobility/landowners and the church etc.
Since I turned 30 I write in the margins of books I read. The better the book is the more notes. Its much more engaging.

Not necessarily. Plenty of kings were elected by the nobility.

It has less telemetry surely?
I often think about the people I used to spend hours with every day playing games online. I wonder whether they think of me too.

Nail on the head
I’ve always considered agnostics to be atheists who just don’t wanna debate. At least that’s why I used to call myself an agnostic when I was younger.
Dont forget that dogs developed eyebrow muscles in order to do the puppy eyes better.
