If the reasons for school shootings, in some cases is bullying, perhaps schools need to do MORE to create a school community that is more inclisive, respectful and welcoming to all. However we also need to build up resilience in people, as not everyone is going to treat you nicely all the time, and we need to, in some cases have thicker skin and the ability to say NO and STOP to people in such a way that they then STOP.

I was going to do the same, but decided against it, I plan to call it Microcrap, but microslop sounds good too. I feel sometimes it is useful to refer to things properly in the interest of clarity.

So will MS leave people in the lurch or issue an emergency patch? The former will drive people straight to replacements and the community need to be like a predator ready to move in to injured prey.

Agreed, looking at the article it is the parents or adults who are buying for the kids, or providing an allowance and the kids buy their own.
This is what happens when generations are raised without the word NO because some numpty has decreed saying no harms children. There was a time when NO meant NO.
