The uproar began after Trump urged those who believe “the first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens" to stand up.
“Isn’t that a shame? You should be ashamed of yourself, not standing up,” the president said looking towards Democratic lawmakers.
Omar and Tlaib — members of the “Squad,” an informal group of progressive House Democrats — then started yelling at the president from their seats.
“You have killed Americans!” Omar could be heard shouting repeatedly, apparently referencing the two U.S. citizens, Renee Good and Alex Pretti, who were killed by federal immigration agents in Minnesota.
“You should be ashamed,” Omar, who has frequently been the target of Trump’s ire, added.
Tlaib, who is wearing a large “F*** ICE” pin, yelled “lies” several times.
Polls show that many Americans share the lawmakers’ concerns about Trump’s immigration enforcement measures. According to a February survey from Quinnipiac, 63 percent of Americans disapprove of the way ICE is enforcing immigration laws.
I’m so sick of this Democrat obsession with being polite to corrupt, treasonous, pedophiles. They should have been chanting “Epstein Files! Epstein Files!” and “Liar! Liar!” and “Pedophile! Pedophile!” and more.
MAGAs have no problem saying far, far worse when it isn’t even close to true, so Dems shouldn’t be shy about shouting the things that actually ARE true.
Why are they so worried that MAGAs will be angry at them? MAGA already hates them, and wants to kill them. It’s really stupid to be quiet about it.
Edit: Just read this morning that some MAGA special interest group has already made an ad that will start running showing the Dems all sitting, while it says “Dems are for illegal immigrants, Republicans are for you.”
They wouldn’t be able to use that footage, if the Dems had sat there, but ALSO chanted “Ped-O-Phile!” They gave MAGA a gotcha opportunity, because they have to be polite to traitors, criminals, and pedophiles.
They’re both paid by Isreal and it shows.
