There’s also Peertube. I think both are worth checking out.
Newpipe
Oh why better than peer tube?
Newpipe is essentially an rss client for youtube, and a couple other services. It is probably the most private yt watching on android. You subscribe to channrls, and are notified of new uploads. No algorithms, no ads.
I prefer grayjay because it is a front end that works for peertube, YouTube, odysee and a bunch of other different sources
grayjay is developed by FUTO, which is a shady company tied with fascists.
Well that fucking sucks, their products are actually decent but now I don’t want to provide support to them by recommending anything they put out
