Rather than go back thru like two-five weeks (I got overwhelmed at work + trips + family stuff, abruptly reminded of the reality of time + space + how unfinished/unpolished some of the automation/info intake is) I wanna ask what the fuck happened. I checked the other day and the first thing I saw was the US saying it attacked Iran. At this point I didn’t even believe it because the US RSS feeds are always lying to me. So, did they actually do an attack? Did Iran hit something back in the Gulf states? Has the UAE seen the folly of their ways, just kidding? Has the US launched any more high seas piracy to cast more MAGAllusions blockade enforcement special military activities? Etcetera?

Anything will be helpful just please save me some review via summary. Just give your take on it, even if you’re totally guessing about some stuff or also partly out of the loop (I know how bad the infospace around this is, thanks again for playing). I won’t do this much, feel free to delete (?) it mods. I’m not gonna flip out again. I’m not a flipper-outer. I’m an Outer God. Okay I’m gonna actually see for myself and contribute now sorry lol

Well, the small and quick summary is this. The rhythm of the war slowed down. However, Iran is still maintaining control of the Strait of Hormuz.

(May 27th)The US did strike and Iran responded by attacking the US base in Kuwait.

From my point of view, Brian Berletic’s take on the recent events make sense to me:

I warned that the US objective is not necessarily toppling Iran immediately, and certainly not stopping “nuclear weapons” that don’t even exist - but to cut China and the rest of Asia off from not just Iranian oil, but all energy exports from the Middle East.

To maintain the slow but sure strangulation of energy exports from the entire region, the US has triggered a war damaging energy production and export infrastructure across the whole region, then placed its own blockade on Iranian ports and any other shipping it decides to interdict, as well as carrying out sporadic attacks even while “negotiating” with Iran.

The goal is to maintain this strangle hold, increase it when necessary, perform political circus when it needs to cool markets - all while creating the economic crisis it requires to isolate China and force Asian states under a greater degree of US energy dependence.

Well, I did make it short to avoid making this harder to read or keep up. Hope you find it helpful.

That is very helpful I forgot Berletic existed when I was refiling all the dang YouTubes among other things recently, he is one of the more sober alt media people, talked to him a bit on TG and he seems… “Normal.” I would listen in even if I knew he was a fed, it would be the same process anyways.

I wonder if that’s a realistic objective for the US. I’m more on the nit-and-grit side of the industry w chemistry n shit but based on raw numbers the countries the US intends to hurt the most are coasting by far better than US allies which are allowed minimal independent refinement capacity. I’m sure the US wouldn’t mind failing another sanction-war and settling for fucking over their allies they seem physically incapable of not doing that even after the agonizing process of Covid & Ukraine. Maybe from self-interested bougie standpoints this feels like even bigger #winning

Yes, the US basically did attack to the full extent of their capabilities.

      Basically:

US and Israel mass bombed Iran, Khomeini was killed and replaced by his son

Israel launched a big offensive into Lebanon

Hormuz was fully blocked for over a full month, the situation is complicated now but still mostly blocked, US afterwards also started blocking Hormuz itself

US lost several aircraft including an AWACS and over 20% of it’s Reaper drone fleet

US bases everywhere in the region attacked in retaliation with several radar systems destroyed

Various infrastructure in the gulf states attacked

US and Iran agreed to ceasefire about a few weeks ago with some on and off flare ups happening
