Nah. It’s like the paradox of tolerance. Just as those who are intolerant of others deserve no tolerance for themselves, those who have no sympathy for the suffering of others deserve no sympathy when it’s their turn to suffer. Doubly so when they are the cause of much of others’ suffering.
