    They throw away expired food, someone takes it and is ill, they sue, and some fucked up jurisdictions side with the plaintiff. So yeah they’ll destroy what they can.

      Because people dumpster diving have the means to hire lawyers or lawyers are dumb enough to take on a case like that on contingency.

        It doesn’t. The law is very clear about this but bootlickers live in an alternate reality where their legal fictions make sense to them.

        My partner’s been dumpster diving in the U.S. for like a decade, they’ve told me it’s not a thing. This has never happened in the states.
