I don’t know if it is still showing but there is also a Michael Jackson biopic/musical on broadway.
There is no way in hell I am paying Broadway prices or wasting a trip to NYC to hear two+ hours of Michale Jackson covers.

I think they mentioned they wanted to cover more songs as well as the pedo allegations.
That will be interesting as the family supposedly wanted the allegations kept completely away from this film. I’m guessing the only way to make it a key plot point is to go into full reputation laundering mode and run the risk of getting sued by accusers.
Their initial idea was to put the allegations in this first movie, but they had legal problems with one of the accusers, so the final act of the movie had to be redone.
