Advice columnist E. Jean Carroll has asked a judge to require President Donald Trump to pay her $5 million from a jury verdict that found Trump sexually abused her in 1996 and defamed her after she publicly described the attack in 2019.

She’s getting paid.

The money’s in a court escrow account. Its release was dependent on Trump losing his appeal, and the SCOTUS didn’t save Trump’s final appeal.

She’s not asking Trump to pay, she’s passing along the case outcome to the court and saying they can release the funds to her now.
