“Do you think my tattoo is cool?” No, I don’t. There are no cool tattoos. “Check out my sleeve!” Oh god ew.
Tattoos themselves are stupid. Doubly so if it’s some media IP. “I put Batman on my body!” “Look at this image of Goku on my calf!” I can’t think of many things I’d want to do less than that.
There are a few narrow exceptions. Chances are yours isn’t one of them.
If you personally like tattoos, fine. I’m not saying nobody should get tattoos because I don’t like them. I’m stating my opinion that tattoos are stupid, and I am stating it here because it is probably not a popular opinion.

Fully agree. Nothing turns me off more than a tattoo. Don’t know where this trend all of sudden came from - at the same time as broccoli hair - but I can’t wait for it to pass.
To be entirely fair, humanity has been doing tattoos and other decorative body modifications since basically forever. Look up “Ötzi the Iceman”, he’s our earliest known example of tattoos, but only 5300 years ago or so, no reason to think that’s the earliest that did it.
It started getting popular in the 90’s already.
These are the 50+ who have to walk around with their tribal tattoo for the rest of their lives.
I was dating a guy whose mom got a tramp stamp.
The kind of tattoos and even just deciding to have them says something about them.
We went clubbing with his mom and she kept getting hit on by guys our age. It was hilarious and also kind of nice to see “older” women (she must have been late 30s/early 40s) still being able to attract men. 10/10. Although decades later I wonder if/when men will leave me alone.
