LOS ANGELES (KABC) – The Los Angeles Police Department is ending its agreement with Flock Safety, a company that operates surveillance cameras throughout the city.
LAPD announced that it will allow its agreement with the company to expire Saturday.

Are they removing the cameras or just not paying Flock for access? Kind of important. LA doesn’t own the, so they are just removing LAPD access, not access to any other agencies or “partners” Flock sells access to.
Without the protection of the LAPD those cameras won’t last long.
