It’s not them losing their wealth, it’s eliminating all of the rules set up to get them there in the first place. It’s preventing them from laying people off. It’s keeping them from developing more surveillance, more oppressive rules, no products that we don’t own and do on. You can’t lobby a congressman, if you’ve been eaten.
I’m not going to pretend that billionaires losing all their money will fix all our problems.
But I quite like the idea of them no longer having it.
It may not fix all problems, but it sure as hell will stop continuing causing more of them

If done by legislation it would mean some pretty significant societal changes in the long run.
