I have been looking into consensus and reports, coupled with the fact that there’s a deep hate for the people who struggle and lack of alternatives being built, it seems like they want a war on the Eastern Front, to get rid of the reserve labor force. I just don’t think anyone here can see themselves as American Vassals, they think they’re totally a part of the club, because they get lulled by all these Colgate smiling diplomats from America, by these loans and shit and promises of super duper defense systems. The old guard is full of believers that are disconnected from the people they rule over and consider themselves part of the exclusionary western financial system, that’s why they are so attracted to Zionism as well, since it is even more restrictive and separated from the millions of still “too peasant” hwite Christian Westerners.
I don’t think most of them think of themselves as being played, sure some of the more national capitalists might, but people like Merz and Von der Leyen do see themselves as enforcers of the great white empire and whatever tomfoolery they have planned.
