Yeah, I mean look at Cuomo for mayor. Keeping around provably corrupt politicians became more common most notably with Donald Trump but it applies now to both parties.
Cuomo shouldn’t be able to run for dog catcher after his actions, and yet he’s there at the top of the polls and getting endorsements from other establishment figures.
Absolutely, and I truly believe it all comes back to money in politics. When money equals speech, money is represented, not the people. It’s nothing new & always been a problem, but Citizens United really accelerated it.

Yet he’s still winning in the polls… There are millions of people in NYC who are still willing to vote for him because of name recognition.
