Facebook’s algorithm didn’t promote the movie?
I’m shocked, shocked, I say.
No one can afford to go to the movies anymore±+ calling them flops and basing the movies success over something that is out of reach of A LOT of people is just plain stupid.
It’ll do well on streaming.

2026 has actually been the best year for box office since 2019, and five films have hit the billion dollar mark (and one of those films is currently the third highest grossing film of all time).
People are still willing to go to the movies, they just didn’t care about this specific movie.
I know I’m not in the US of A, so my movie dollars don’t help in all the head lines, but The Odyssey is/was still selling out here in Melbourne IMAX. (Think this is its last week here)
I’m here on holiday, and from my local theatre have a max of 110 people, to a sold out 400+ IMAX showing, that is something I will never forget.
The first I’m ever hearing of either movie
Ive heard that it is an incredibly mid movie
the subject is incredibly important but the execution was just silly, even for Sorkin
If I had a nickle for every time a David Fincher movie got a meh spinoff, I would have 2 nickles.
Which is not a lot but its weird that it happened twice.
Spiders Web Thoughts
MAYBE The Girl in the Spiders web is book accurate, but for me who only watched the movies, it was weird seeing Lisbeth turn into batman overnight
I mean, what is the movie even about? There’s been no reckoning. It’s just fantasy, and who gave a shit about the first movie anyway?
