Donald Trump ripped into Iran and Israel for violating a ceasefire deal within hours of his triumphant announcement.
“You basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f— they’re doing! Do you understand that?” he told reporters Tuesday morning on his way to the NATO summit in The Hague.
Almost like announcing something on “truth” social doesn’t automatically make it the truth. They probably didn’t even know anything about a cease fire until his post.
It’s an old grift. If you don’t want to actually do something, but you still want credit for doing it, then just say that you’re doing it. Many people will be tricked.
It’s the same reason the Nazis called themselves “socialists” despite never supporting socialism.
