They also posted an anti-AOC video featuring a video that promoted Marjorie a while back. As you can imagine, they got roasted for that one too.

Bruh Is there any politician elected in the last 20 years that you like?

And what the fuck is even your idea of improving this godforsaken country? Armed revolution? Or peaceful nonviolent revolution because nobody is subhuman and deserves to die, and armed revolution would make you a genocidal maniac

          Kshama Sawant is pretty cool.

The irony of calling anti genocide a genocide position is pretty huge when Zionists endorse Zohran.

ITT, we must be reminded of these quotes:

“If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools.” – Plato

“Those who are able to see beyond the shadows and lies of their culture will never be understood, let alone believed, by the masses.” – Plato

"No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.” Plato

We must stop being celebrity worshippers.

Getting elected is the start, not the end.

We must not fear calling out politicians and holding them to our demands.

We must continue forcing them to the left (helping the poor and working class), instead of the status quo.

I love seeing all the hate he gets. His speech last night was incredible. I feel like it’s been years since I have seen someone talk with such determination. It was a breath of fresh air compared to everyone else. I do love how everyone just seems to know he will be bad without ever giving him a chance. Im all for what he wants to try and accomplish, and even if I didn’t I see how crazy everyone else at the top is scared of him, and to me that means he must be doing something good.

We let the worst scum do whatever they want for decades all over this country, and yet somehow, this guy who actually seems to care for the people is going to be the guy that brings it all crumbling down? Give me a break. I for one, can’t wait to see if he fails. My biggest fear is that it will just be ramped up propaganda for the next 4 years constantly lying about how terrible he was when, in fact, he actually did an ok job. Basically, what happened in NJ with Phil Murphy. Guy did a great job, way better than I expected, and yet all I ever hear is how awful he was, and yet nobody can tell me why, outside of things that didn’t happen… we’ll yeah nobody can do everything! But the things he did pushed this state along in positive ways without attacking or destroying what we have.

Progressives and tankies are completely disjunct political tendencies. I’m not sure why you post this stuff here.

It’s funny because there is some truth to what he’s saying here but the logic applies just as much to his preferred strategy of running as an independent. So I’m not really sure if this is a serious critique or just an attempt to sabotage the American left.

    Who even is this guy.

Is he of any consequence. Sincerely I have no idea because I don’t consume any form of ‘talking head’ media.

I realize that my refusal to participate in ‘podcast’ or whatever doesn’t mean they are irrelevant. But this guy seems like he should be wholly irrelevant, after listening for ~90 seconds

This guy is the guy warning you of you falling for it again and what the signs were. Who has been right about almost everything the last two years.

        Falling for what?

Voting for the most progressive/left/whatever-label candidate that has any reasonable chance in the election? Is that falling for something?

Obviously the elections are over, with excellent results (nationwide), so all of this bleating is moot

        But

Does anyone here sincerely believe that Cuomo would be a better Mayor? How many folks really wished Eric Adams the 2nd?

For sure, if Mamdani falls down and knocks his head and gets Fettermanized, that’s not gonna be cool.

But to criticize him for doing his best to become a good and capable leader for ALL OF NYC is silly. He’s not suddenly become Bibi’s best friend and I doubt seriously that he’s secretly wearing IDF panties to bed.

He IS however going to have to work with all of the constituencies in NYC which includes like a literal million Jews. That demographic isn’t going to be uniform in its outlook on the Palestinian genocide, and maybe 10% of them are going to be Hasidic or similar. There is really no benefit to gratuitously pissing any of them off before he even gets started.

This is just more purity test bullshit
