Lindsey Halligan was appointed after President Donald Trump urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to prosecute the former FBI director and the New York attorney general. Bondi said Monday that the Justice Department will appeal the judge's ruling.

Looks like it was tweaked to say “disputed” instead of “unlawful,” since I imagine the Trump admin will try to fight this.
