Last january Nicaragua’s national assembly approved the plan to reform the constitution to create a people’s democracy. It’s been six months since that news so I’m curious how far along they are now with implementing this.
Is there a pro-govt Nicaraguan news site where I can keep up to date btw?
It is already implemented. You can find more information on this document(it’s in Spanish though): https://gacetasandinista.com/diplomado-transformaciones-evolucionarias-en-45-anos-de-luz/
Another good chapter to understand the structure is the Municipal government chapter where it explains how the councils work.
