4·15 days agoI have a minds eye and can give my thoughts a voice if I choose, but they aren’t there by default. Interestingly though, I am a parent to a child who appears to have aphantasia.
My internal monologue has no sound, it’s just raw words. Not text, just the concept of words.
My thoughts can have a voice if I give it one, but not by default. Usually things only have “sound” in my head if I’m playing a song in my head or something.

Not anymore after reading up on how bad alcohol is for us.
Caught my shoelaces in my bike chain trying to avoid a shitty driver who almost ran me off the road (I did successfully not get hit by this idiot and eventually got him to realize how bad he was fucking up, yay).
Tired of this bullshit and am probably going to convert my bike from chain and derailleur to belt and hub like I have on my Priority Folder.
He only gets like 400m of that though, wouldn’t it be nice if we taxed billionaires and corporations like we taxed lottery winners so people with cancer could just get good doctors instead of being effectively sentenced to death for not being rich enough?
That’s cool, I’ll continue not buying your shitty, overpriced games!
If you happen to make a good one, maybe I’ll buy the fully patched DRM free version with all the DLC for $5 in a few years.
