How many times can you recall a president cursing when talking to reporters? Even Trump doesn’t curse much in his tweets or press briefings. So it’s definitely notable.

I think your misunderstanding the article. They’re not saying that Trump hasn’t called for everything and anything under the sun. They’re saying that after the bombing, trumps team was stating the attack was on their nuclear capabilities, then Trump throws out regime change.
The issue with this is that generally when you bomb someone, you are sending a message. If Trumps admin says one thing, then Trump declares another, it’s hard to know what the US actually wants and was trying to achieve with the bombings.
Its a similar issue with the tarrifs. Countries have met with the Trump admin to discuss tariffs, but the admin is struggling to define what they want, as Trump doesn’t have a plan/policy. This is causing frustrations with allies because we’re beating them up economically, but won’t tell them why or what it would take for us to stop.
Overall the issue is that Tumpisim may work on social media for constituents, but political messaging between countries generally requires more clear consistent messaging/communication.
It’s really great software, and the android app is great (given it supports offline mode). I just wish the folder structure was simpler/flexible. Makes me tempted to try to make a pull request, but haven’t done something like that in ages.
I always thought the simplest way to do it is to pass laws that require every website to provide a rating/content description and then leave it up to the end user to set acceptable levels. We don’t get mad for kids watching the wrong content on TV.
Websites could be fined for either not providing or providing incorrect classifications.
If people don’t want their kids to see that stuff, make sure the parents have the tools to enforce.
To be honest, I think there is diminishing returns on more money (look at star citizen for example).
I feel like it would end up a live service game (where the extra money results in content over a long period of time) or just become bloated.
I saw Boox called out, but not the Boox Palma². I just got it and it’s been pretty nice. The major draw is the form factor though as it’s phone sized making it pretty portable.
It runs android and I’ve set it up to work with AudioBookshelf and Komga
AudioBookshelf, while designed for audiobooks, allows you to download books for offline reading and seemed the best all in one for books self hosting. It also has a native android app.
Komga seems pretty amazing for manga and comic books (haven’t settled on an app, just using the browser now). The e-ink display isn’t the best for reading this medium, but it’s not terrible for black and white comics.
Since both of those are self-hosted solutions they could integrate with readarr pretty easily (although audiobookshelf’s folder structure can be frustrating).
I mean, that’s everyone involved in this administration. The decisions they’ve made will have screwed over generations to come and the total productivity of this country has been shot to hell.
There is no way to look at any of these decisions in a good way.
