Wyden has some good positions, but like most politicians he’s deep in AIPAC’s pocket. More generally he has standard liberal positions when it comes to military force and even conservative positions on things like suspending habeas corpus for military combatants. Personally, I think it’s time for him to think about stepping down. He’s pushing 80, and I want someone more progressive in the seat.
