Interesting. Idk how you’re going to adapt that to film. A big part of the souls experience for me is the cryptic, zero-exposition lore.

I’m scared, but hopeful. I saw a set piece and I’ll be damned if it didn’t look right outta the game. If they can keep up with the whole vibe of ER, then maybe… just maybe… it could be worth watching.

I’ve never been interested in playing the game, but the setting and visual aesthetic is really cool so this sounds promising.

…huh. Garland has a good track record, imo. Fantasy would be a new one from him, but also weird-as-fuck, so he can probably run with it. Reserved interest to see how this turns out.

Not holding out hope this will be any good, but Denis Villeneuve or Alex Garland would probably be the only two people I would trust to make something out of this that isn’t a guaranteed dumpster fire.
