A screenshot of my local theater’s website, showing seats sold (or not) for a prime time screening.

That single seat is an FBI agent ordered by Kash Patel to watch the movie while on duty so that theatres won’t appear entirely empty. And before you ask: yes, the man has got a weapon, and, yes, he’s considering making one last use of it.

Funny how after opening weekend, nobody bothered talking about this documentary again, except to discuss the grifting behind it.

I wonder how many of the people who said they’d watch it only lasted 5 mins

Probably Nobody did. Even the people who watched it that said it was amazing probably won’t be rewatching

Personally, Michelle Obama’s documentary, I haven’t seen but am interested. Any trump documentary would basically be just showing their narcissism. There is nothing I could learn from the trump family

There were a few brave souls on YT that did. Albeit, they knew what they were in for and it was really just to get content.

Yeah. Remember when they all spent a week proclaiming that this documentary should win awards 😂

Turns out the documentary really wasn’t that life changing as a lot of people were saying

Probably isn’t even getting seeded on BitTorrent

You know, if everyone just denied his existence. I get tired of hearing or reading about it. My feed gets flooded with his face continuously sadly. There’s more interesting news in the world than ol’ gramps.

Didn’t know the guy. Looked him up. Found this:

In 2017, numerous women in Hollywood came forward with allegations of rape and sexual assault by Ratner.[3] This resulted in his business deals and prospective film projects getting canceled or scrapped, with Warner Bros. Pictures and talent agencies distancing themselves from him, and with Ratner subsequently immigrating to Israel.

        And this:

The director of the new documentary on US First Lady Melania Trump has appeared embracing a young woman in images released by the US Department of Justice on Friday.
Brett Ratner, who also directed the Rush Hour films and X-Men: The Last Stand, can be seen sitting on a sofa beside the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and two women whose identities have been obscured.

You really can’t make this shit up!

"In a statement, White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly said, “Neither the President nor his family has ever engaged — or will ever engage — in conflicts of interest.”

        They’re not lies - they’re “alternative facts”.

        In that same vein,

        • illegal wars of aggression are “special milliary operations”
        • people the U.S. does not want to grant POW status are “irregular combatants” (a term used for people locked up for decades in Guantanamo Gulag)
        • extrajudicial killings (e.g. via drone strikes) are “liquidations” or targets being “neutralised”.
        • torture is “enhanced interrogation techniques”.

I wish I were making this shit up, but most of this vocabulary is from the Bush era. That goes to ahow: while there are certain differences in both quality and quantity, blatant lies to the public have always been a hallmark of (U.S.) governments.
