Is montrealgazette truly Canadian owned and operated? Or is it an American media that’s pretending to be Canadian? Asking out of curiosity… thanks
it’s a simple Internet search. Postmedia, American.
If you’re literate enough to worry about sources surely you can perform a search?
Of course I could have looked it up, but I was lazy. I also wanted to engage and ask a legitimate question. Thanks for pitching in! :)
Yes you could have engaged by spreading information instead of doubt. We should all expect more.
Well fuck those guys.
You have to bring your own gun?
I can bring my own gun!?! Everyone else makes me leave it at home!

Garda being in Canada means Canadians are also doing the American domestic genocide if anybody wasn’t clear on that
Montreal and Florida also have the let’s get rid of fluoride in our water in common. Some things spread fast
IIRC, in the early 20th century, it was considered fashionable in some segments of French Canada to get all one’s teeth pulled out and replaced with dentures, so maybe time is a flat circle here.
“Alligator Auschwitz”.
I like Alligator Auschwitz Concentration (soon to be death) Camp.
“Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish”
Sounds like a dangerous job, they might be asked to round each other up at the end of it.
I hope the CAQ steps in and makes some kind of crazy amendment to bill 96 forcing the prison guards to speak french as well
I’m all for weaponizing QC language laws for good.
In fact, you know what, maybe that “Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish” phrase is an OQLF complaint that just needs to happen.
Wouldn’t that be English and French?
So the officers are going to be prisoners as well? They will be on site, hanging out in a tent in the swamp.
I understand capitalism, I have no respect for the economic system but understand it, but a Canadian company hires out the people for US prisons in this economy? Then $25/hr for 60 hours a week, to live with scared people.
I mean it would suck, but for $91,000 a year in this economy it shouldn’t be hard to find people.
Edit: Flights/meals covered and you stay on site… They’ll get people without problem
From what I understand it from reading the post it is something like a week on a week off. I am sure it would be very stressful and I do not see people lasting long times; or there would be people who stay employed for a longer time, like an oil rig. I can see the proud boys applying and getting the jobs and people will die there, until it rains and the proud boys get a little wet and scared of the water.
