Even though there is only one God in Christianity. We also have Jesus, and the holy spirit.

So now you need to know that God in the old Testament (before Jesus) was an asshole. An allmighty being that punished people for sinning or being near sins or because he was in a bad mood, who knows.

Then in the new Testament Jesus told everyone God is a loving father who only is doing fair judgement and so on.

      So one God two tales.

I read a third chapter where God fights crime, keeps his gun cleaning kit in the fridge in an egg carton, and cuts the tips off of his pizza slices with scissors while fighting an axe clanking club in L.A.:

When a mass shooting at a Los Angeles supermarket evolves into a hostage crisis, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) summons Lieutenant God of their elite “Zombie Squad” to resolve the incident. God confronts the shooter, who espouses social Darwinist ideals and mentions a “New World”; God kills him before he can execute a group of hostages. Detective Monte reprimands God for disregarding police procedure, and God admonishes a group of reporters for not prioritizing the safety of the victims.

Unbeknownst to the authorities, the supermarket incident is part of a string of violent crimes committed by the New World, a cult that despises modern society and believes in killing the weak, leaving only the strongest and smartest to rule. Ingrid Knudsen, a local model and businesswoman, becomes the New World’s priority target after she witnesses the group and their leader, the “Night Slasher”, on a killing spree. Knudsen is placed under the protective custody of God and His partner Sergeant Tony Gonzales following an attempt on her life.

After more attempts to kill Knudsen and God, God theorizes that an organization is behind this, but his theory is rebuffed by his superiors. Cobretti and Gonzales leave with Knudsen to the small town of San Remos, where Cobretti and Knudsen fall in love. Nancy Stalk, an LAPD officer and New World’s second-in-command, infiltrates the police escort.

At dawn, the New World arrives in San Remos on motorcycles and besieges the town on Stalk’s instructions. In a shootout, Cobretti kills many cultists, but Gonzales is wounded. Cobretti and Knudsen flee in a pickup truck, which the cultists wreck with a roadblock. The pair flee to a steel mill, where Cobretti defeats the rest of the cultists and Stalk is accidentally shot by the Night Slasher.

Cobretti fights with the Night Slasher in hand-to-hand combat and impales him on a hook that drags him into a furnace. The California Highway Patrol secures San Remos and rescues Gonzales. As Cobretti is cleared by his superiors, Monte initially appears apologetic, only to again chastise Cobretti for “overdoing it”, prompting Cobretti to punch Monte in the face before riding away with Knudsen on a motorcycle.

It’s more like Jesus came to see why earth was so fucked up and experience it from a human perspective then report back to himself about it. Then deciding to anull any and all sin moving forward because he got to experience all the fucked up aspect of humanity.

Jesus was a guy. So were the thousands of random crazy streetside people yakkin about whatever random shit.

There is no god. There is no such thing.

There is no afterlife. There is no such thing.

There is only this life and right now.

    THIS. IS. YOUR. LIFE.

    RIGHT. NOW.

No sky dadddies, no mythological creatures. Just society and not being a terrible fucking human to others.

Morality and therefore ethics are made up by all of us, dynamically, variably, to exact control, unity, and to benefit that which we want. Don’t get that confused and all fucked up with cults. Religion is all cults, and always has been and always will be, because it’s FAITH. You have to take something as true with no evidence. That’s what faith is.

Be offended. Be upset. Struggle, cope, grow, find real purpose, and stop wasting your life on cult abuse. Fuck religions. They can be interesting, fascinating… Hell, even appealing. But it’s all fake, made up bullshit to affect peoples’ behavior in some way.

The stuff that matters and is real is staring you right smack dab in the face. So take a deep breath, know that you’ve been had. Accept it, mourn the lie and the loss, and try to do and be better. Morality exists well and healthy completely outside of religion, you just have to actually think about it.

And for those of you who have or will have kids, please please please consider teaching your kids how to be good people and find real happiness. It’s definitely possible and happens all the time.

Welcome to your life. The horrors of being aware of your own real mortality, and what that means. It’s hard, but it’s also the most meaningful thing you’ll ever have. It’s a shame to waste it in delusion.

    So don’t.

Go outside. Smile at somebody who’s having a hard time. Build community. These things are real.

Have a potluck. Go see a movie. Pretend you believe. It’s okay sometimes. That’s the power of being human… And being truly alive.

This stuff takes time to unpack, unlearn, consider, and relearn how to live. Religion is everywhere. Class war is everywhere. Fucked up stuff is everywhere.

If you decide this isn’t for you, that’s okay, you can go back. But if you do, please please please understand that your worldview can absolutely hurt others when you think you may be doing the right thing or even do nothing at all. Every action, word, inaction, silence, and thought really happens, and can affect yourself and others.

Being alive is a great adventure. But remember that, just like walking ancient halls or along the earth’s surface in this solar system, in this galaxy, in this universe, we, our minds, our somewhat self aware nervous systems, being alive for however long we have left - are all just visitors here. We don’t exist, then we do, then we don’t, again… We are visiting. Until, someday, we must say goodbye, and take the forever sleep.

When I hit submit on this comment, I’m gonna stretch, and feel my body for what it is and what it’s capable of, all my limits, and appreciate that I can feel it at all. I’m alive, for now. And that’s awesome. And you should do that, too, if you can. And if you can’t, do whatever you can do, and know that you’re alive, too, for now, and that’s awesome.

I hope any and all of you who read this have the best possible day you can.

Breathe, drink more water, stretch, and appreciate being alive.
