Hey all, I’m a solo dev and I’ve been making a daily puzzle called Lie of Sight. Each case is a room seen from above and a family each says what they could see. One of them is lying. You place everyone using their sight lines and catch the liar. Grandma only sees two squares ahead and the dog goes by smell, so it’s spatial deduction more than reading clues. Free in the browser, no sign-up, new case every day.

If you like Clues by Sam or Murdle you might like it. Would love to know how it feels.

Glad it works now! For now I don’t need either: the site is just the game, so I’ve switched the bot check to log-only and kept rate limits on the parts that save scores and accounts.

Anubis would mean putting my own proxy server in front of the site, which doesn’t fit how it’s hosted right now. Altcha is more my speed. If bots ever start hammering the sign-up or score forms, I’d rather put a quiet proof-of-work check like that on just those forms than make every visitor wait on a “verify” screen again. Thanks for the pointers!
