Please note that NSFW/NSFL videos must be labeled as such or they will be deleted

Edit: also keep in mind that initial information in these situations can often be inaccurate. Trusted outlets have conflicting reports about whether a suspect has been detained.

Edit 2: the campus has officially stated they release the initial subject. Donald Trump has stated Charlie Kirk is dead.

“I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights” - Charlie Kirk, 2023

To quote Jesus: live by the sword, die by the sword.

That’s all that comes to mind.

These people who have been pushing for getting rid of trans people and throwing immigrants in concentration camps, and generally just calling for (and profiting from) hate need to realize doing so only has one consequence: more hate. Hate boils into violence.

People can pray for him, but he did not live a life according to Jesus’ teaching when he preached hate.

Ironically, this assassin literally justified the 2nd Amendment. You use it to off tyrants. And boy they sure did.

But this guy wasn’t even a tyrant. He was just a fucking pawn. And there’s going to be somebody else ready to step in and take his place.

This doesn’t solve anything. It just gives the right a much needed distraction and the illusion of having an excuse to crackdown hard on the left. They would have done it either way, but this basically buys them cover.

So was this guy put on trial or was he just executed (allegedly by a civilian sharp shooter) during a time when the president keeps making false claims about needing to militarize American cities due to a lack of law and order?

Funny you bring up this guy going to Nuremberg bc I was actually just thinking the other day how different history might have turned out of we’d actually put the major players like Hitler or Mussolini on trial in front of the rest of the world.

Obviously this was a case of vigilante justice. But the man made his whole living trying to incite genocide against innocent people. The US government just blew up a boat full of Venezuelans, murdering them without trial, on the accusation of them being drug smugglers. Our closest ally, Israel, routinely executes people without trial for doing far less than what Kirk did.

The 2nd Amendment is always cited as being to protect against tyranny. That obviously entails extrajudicial violence. If there is ever a valid use for extrajudicial violence, it’s in the prevention of genocide. The president will do all the evil he was going to do anyway. But he’s a fascist, of course he’s going to do that.

I’m sorry, but I’m not going to shed a tear for this guy. His last words were an attempt to incite violence against a minority group. If there is a Hell, he’s burning there right now.

Those who live by the sword will die by the sword. He got exactly what was coming to him.

This is just my perspective, and I never wish harm or suffering on another living being, but if what/who you are and advocate for causes these things and you’re too stupid or bribed to see it and continue being you… Then, for the greater good, good riddance

It’s all fun and games until Republicans use this as an excuse to further enforce their fascist agendas. Just glad this happened in Utah and not Illinois or California. Blue states will likely bear the brunt of the repercussions if there are any.

Republicans are marching National Guard soldiers into the largest cities in America on exaggerated “crime fighting” excuses. They have established an unaccountable militia with ICE hiding their identities and violating the civil rights of American citizens on exaggerated or fabricated drug/violence reasons. They’ve needed no legitimate excuses to do these things, yet they are actively doing them. This changes nothing on that front.

Trump ordered flags at half mast until Sunday. So this piece of shit got what he quite literally asked for and it’s a national tragedy, but innocent children killed in schools on a weekly basis get “nothing we can do about it, thoughts an prayers 🤷‍♂️.” Fucking clownshow.

You keep handwaving Kirk being a moral monster who was actively making the nation and the world a significantly more hostile & dangerous place for millions of disadvantaged human beings as “You just disagree with him.” Why?

The irony is a group of people cheering for a person that died because he had different beliefs and opinions, otherwise known as persecution of their opponents. A characteristic of Nazism.

Defend this barbarism all you want.

Charlie Kirk spouted hate and bigotry and built a career out of it.

He advocated for violence against trans and gay people.

Not every human is a good person deep down inside. Charlie Kirk was a terrible person, an ally to the fascists, and advocating violence against minority groups.

This is no simple different beliefs.

He got what he advocated and deserved.

Did he deserve to die? I don’t think it’s fair to say that. He was a bad person and had a lot of bad influence over way too many people.

But even if he was reprehensible, killing him will not do anyone any good. It will just be used for further radicalization. Not that they need any excuse.

As the deep state heritage foundation fascist Kevin Roberts famously said, “the country is in the midst of a ‘second American Revolution’ that will be bloodless ‘if the left allows it to be.’”

As it turns out, we won’t be turning into a Nazi dictatorship without blood being spilt.
