When the lawmaker later called the number affiliated with the order, it went to the state police in Indianapolis. Hoax pizza deliveries have been a favored tactic of MAGA supporters who have tried to enforce loyalty to Trump and his agenda…“The whole idea is, We know who you are. We know where you live,” the Indiana lawmaker said. “They’re trying to intimidate us.”

Interesting how this is a right wing tactic.

I guess people on the left have more respect for the actual humans making and delivering the food.

Amazing how Republican officials fear violence from their own base far more than their opposition…

I mean yeah. The past few years, political assassinations were by right-winger extremists. And just like school shooting, nobody cares after a few days.

The lawmaker said Republicans should be trying to win elections on the merits, not through gerrymandering: “If you’re not confident enough in your policies that you think that it’s going to have a negative impact on your politics, then maybe you need to be doing something different.”

A self-aware Republican politician? In Indiana?! Am I taking crazy pills?

I think it’s important to know that there are two different types of republican politicians. The true believer and the grifter. A good example of the former is MTG she has beliefs that she will actually stick to and won’t just go with whatever the party line is. However they will still always side with the Republicans they aren’t good people they just actually have values.

MTG is absolutely a grifter though, she only changed her narrative when she was on the way out already. She’s also planned her retirement from congress to be 2 days after she is entitled to a lifetime congressional pension. She’s a grifter who’s old grift has run it’s course and so now she’s attempting to pivot to something new, grifters gonna grift.

Lol Hoax pizza deliveries. So what we’re saying here is that MAGA is 4chan. That makes absolutely perfect sense.

Most people do not know how truly influential 4chan is. If I had never been down the alt right pipeline I would think it crazy to blame gamer gate for trump when they are so intricatly linked it would take a collage level course to explain it.

Robert Evans (Host of Behind the Bastards) has talked a lot about 4chan, 8chan, and how gamergate, qanon, and trump are all linked. He really does great work.

I’m curious how you’d order it, but I agree that it’s not quite in that top level of awfulness. In no particular order I’d definitely put Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Alabama, Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky ahead of it. Next tier I’d say would be Indiana along with Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Missouri, Utah, and the Carolinas, maybe Georgia too.

Louisiana and ohio are definitely in the top tier, but the exact order would likely change day to day. And you completely forgot Idaho. Which somehow flies under the radar of shitbag states. Alaska is up there too.

Idaho and Alaska (along with Montana, Wyoming, and the Dakotas) didn’t make the cut for me merely by small population size, though another way of thinking about that is they have higher suckitude per capita. And after looking it up Idaho is actually ahead of West Virginia in population, so I guess I’d throw it in the second tier, I just don’t feel like I hear about Idaho’s suckiness beyond a local or regional level, whereas West Virginia fucked us nationally with Joe Manchin.
