Answer: lead. It’s still lead and it’s still fucking us all up.

Not just Americans, in all likelihood every single person reading this has been effected by lead. It’s gonna take a very very long time before the effects become negligible.

TL;DW Lead makes you lose intelligence and your life more difficult. Gen X got the worst of it. And yes it’s backed up with research and was largely caused by capitalism.

Edit: screenshot of graph that shows the gen x part

usually, TL;DW is for people who dont want to watch the video at the moment, but are still curious about it

It also usually accurately summarizes the video rather than misinterpreting it…

The video say it’s older millennials, people around 40ish. But explicitly states multiple times that economics is the greatest predictor of exposure.

You might want to check up on the amount of lead in your brain, based on these comments of yours.

“GenX was hit the hardest” is a direct quote from the video, timecode 17:02

Yes there is more than just that one quote to consider, but what are you doing saying it wasn’t in the video?

I think you’re mixing up Gen x and Gen z. The video states that it was people who were in their 20s in the 90s. That’s mostly gen x
