Ah now, don’t think the Nobel prize for other fields, especially in science, are fake just because the peace prize is corrupt.

Don’t think a few misses means every peace prize recipient doesn’t deserve it.

My guess is that one third of peace prize recipients don’t deserve it at all, which is a lot.

For every Mandela who won the peace prize, there is Obama, Kissinger, Machado, Amed and even Teddy Roosevelt…

The Prize has been given to 112 people and 31 organizations. Better brush up on that math.

They gave it t Machado months before she outed herself as a fan of violent coups.

Is there something difficult to understand? They can’t predict the future.

And the Committee’s shitty decision regarding Kissinger doesn’t mean every recipient is Kissinger.

Julian Assange is infamous for being selective regarding the info he chooses to release or comment upon. I don’t really care what he has to say.

It was given to her for her activism against Maduro and due to the persecution she faced for that.

The prize is given for a specific reason. It always has been. Now you’re trying to make up bullshit about how it’s supposed to either 1.) predict the future or 2.) indicate that the person has otherwise always made the right call.

Should Nelson Mandela also not have received it because he engaged in sabotage?

Andrei Sakharov was a dedicated Soviet scientist who turned dissident. Should he have been disqualified for his Soviet past?

Your dishonest bullshit can’t obscure the history of the prize and what it has always been awarded for.

This thread is talking about Machado specifically. It’s right there in the fucking title.

Does anyone here know what context is?

Yes. The post is about her.

                    This THREAD starts with:

“She’s such a cringy moron. The Nobel committee is an embarrassment”

So both her and the committee are a part of this convo.

Do YOU know what context is?
