I once saw a 50 year old woman who weighed about 500lbs, on a mobility scooter running her mouth at another woman in target.
The other woman just was minding her own business shopping. Then adult power wheels rolls up and starts barking at her to go back to her homeland.
The woman explained that she was a native american. To which jabba the slut replied “THEN GO BACK TO NATIVE LAND!!!”
Every fiber of my being was thinking how I should have walked over, turned the key off her hoverround, took the key, and walk away with it. What’s she gonna do? Follow me?
Surely though, in the days when people didn’t have an explanation for muteness and “deaf and dumb” was said about people, they thought they really were dumb, rather than just mute? Or is that not the connection? I’m just guessing here.
Stupidity is a separate dimension from privilege so naturally you would have a group of non stupid privileged people and also stupid privileged people.
This is just what stupid + privileged looks like.

I get yelled at by my wife and my therapist all the time for saying “I wish I was dumb, because then I’d be happy.”
The term is ‘ignorance is bliss’ is quite fitting. Ignorance is seen as a negative choice rather than a happy option.
