If birthright citizenship can be “blocked” by an executive order and now thanks to SCOTUS, there can’t be a national injunction, the next democrat president better fucking executive order gun control and a whole slew of things.

For another interesting take on privacy in the future, take a look at Brian K Vaughn’s The Private Eye graphic novel.

In that world, everyone’s privacy was lost “when the cloud burst”, revealing every private kink, writing, messages, etc for everyone including the rich and powerful. The response was a hard turn towards absolute privacy via avatars.

Plus the art style is great.

Boy, markdown + deep links is not a good combination.

I’m about 43 years old and I literally just bought my first new car this year - and that was with a few years of saving/planning for a sub $30k car. Prior to that, every car was at least a decade old at purchase time, each one driven until they died.

It blows my mind how someone could just walk into a dealer and drop 70k, 80k, or way more on something “just for fun”.

Well, looks like the National Institute for the Deaf (NTID) had at one point partnered with Georgia Tech on an app, PopSign, but that download link doesn’t work anymore.

Similarly, NTID had a free class, but it got cancelled.

I’m a little surprised there isn’t more from the first (and largest) national technical deaf institute…
