    Another option might be the LTSC version of Windows which doesn’t have as much of this nonsense.

    Or game on Linux instead if you game of choice isn’t riddled with anti-cheat “software”.

      Worse, psychonauts just literally doesnt play well on Linux the controls are mapped all wrong.

        That’s unfortunate. There’s some discussion on ProtonDB that may be useful for workarounds etc, but you’re probably already aware of that.
